Discover installed mod vehicles and save independent garage, traffic, patrol and convoy assignments. Retire the superseded RHS 1.9 overrides. Include native menu, crew/driving and publication evidence.
Discovered vehicle assignments — 2026-11-06
Content → Vehicles now provides a Use for selector for garages/yards, civilian traffic, enemy patrols, convoy armed escorts and convoy supply trucks. Installed server vehicle catalogs and complete vehicle prefabs are scanned in small batches; new vehicles remain unassigned until an administrator enables a use. Existing pool defaults remain. Source-mod exclusions, per-use choices and presets persist through the shared server preferences.
Verification
- Full
python3 tools/check.pysuite passed (repository-checks.log). - Focused checks repeated after final traffic-budget and wording corrections:
preferences, command authorization/allowlists, convoy dispatch transactions,
real selection policy, traffic lifecycle, garage geometry and generated menu.
See
focused-final.log. - Discovery found 321 ground vehicles in the installed dependency closure, plus three temporary uncatalogued vehicle prefabs in the disposable test addon.
menu-runexercised the real admin menu: item/master controls, state filters, all 29 navigation pages, selecting a new vehicle for patrols, independent assignments, stale-role action rejection and persisted preference reload.- The same run assigned a new car to garage and traffic selection, verified its actual garage footprint, and allocated production crews for a patrol car, armed escort and supply truck. All three physically drove more than 20m.
final-runcompiled the exact final production addon sources and repeated all page geometry checks plus discovery, per-use selection, garage fit, production crews and physical driving. Rejected traffic candidates consume a native creation attempt before their early return, preserving the 64-attempt ceiling.
The temporary prefabs inherit an S105, armed UAZ and ammunition Ural, with new GUIDs not known to the mission. They are found through the ordinary prefab scan, not a hardcoded production list. They and the fixture script exist only in the disposable source snapshots. Screenshots show the real menu, including the fixture vehicle. An earlier run also allocated five crew and drove a new UAZ patrol derivative; the final fixture uses a smaller car to check garage fit.
Scope
This verifies local Workbench integration, not a dedicated multiplayer session, every third-party mod, every garage location or a complete live supply-convoy mission. Native physical tests use production crew allocation with fixture road starts/orders; finite convoy dispatch and refusal behavior also have policy tests. The garage check proves selection and physical dimensions, not a new full yard placement/claim/cleanup run. Existing lifecycle tests remain in force.
Convoy assignments affect the three light escorts and supply truck. The special BMP slot stays fixed because its interception/mounted-ammunition logic depends on that exact resource. Patrol assignments affect the main HQ vehicle roster; optional bike and Sarka waves retain their existing settings. AI component support is checked without spawning; physical crew and size checks still veto incompatible mod vehicles. Such vehicles are unavailable for that use until the next round. No Workshop addons are downloaded or unloaded by these controls.
All native runs used hidden Gamescope, muted audio, a cloned private Proton prefix and new test profiles. Runner records include immutable launch/external-input hashes and confirmed owned-process cleanup. No user Workbench was closed.
Installed RHS content packs 01/02 were 0.17.5281. Their fingerprints were accepted only in the disposable audit, without changing the repository dependency manifest. Native scripts compiled without errors. The runner still reports external resource errors (localization GUID references, DLC ownership request, and old vehicle fields); successful smoke completion does not mean clean engine logs or certification of the whole external-mod set.
source-comparison.json compares the final tested production files to the
workspace. The fixture source and prefab resources accompany each run. The
release version remains 0.0.143; this change has not been pushed or published.
