# Convoy-survivors package helpers — pending qualification
`commands.txt` contains individual parent-executed steps; the emitter never launches them. The helpers adapt `/tmp/erri-package-prep-1844` with fresh convoy-survivors destinations, source snapshot `.build/playtest-source-2026-10-02-convoy-survivors`, suite `/tmp/erri-playtest-2121`, and normal evidence `docs/evidence/native-2026-10-02-convoy-survivors-normal`.
Create the new source ZIP from the frozen root first (skip if the parent already created the exact path; verify rather than overwrite). Preflight requires a completed fresh frozen suite and exact source equality with both normal-run manifests. Reusing the normal run is permitted only for identical authored bytes; counts alone are insufficient. Expected parent suite count is 291, but verification derives actual registration and execution counts from the frozen files.
Before each native step, inspect host-visible processes using the approved parent escalation and retain runner/prefix locks. Never touch an existing user game. The fresh sessions are direct canonical `/tmp` children. Hidden Gamescope and muted audio remain runner-owned. No native/background launch was created during preparation.
Assembly requires exact authored/PAK/ZIP identity, natural package exit and confirmed cleanup before creating the new candidate. It preserves strict packaging failures. Verification recomputes raw schema-4 ordinary packed startup, verifies exact runtime/launch identities, and retains the existing strict installed-resource failure; the historical owner-fixes error-set comparison is intentional. A changed error set requires review, not new expected counts.
All prior snapshots/packages remain immutable. No current-live source match, human escape, physical interception/resupply, multiplayer/JIP, FPS or release claim follows. No old documentation finalizer was copied: current guide/history needs a separately reviewed final update after real results. `template-provenance.json` and `prep-review.json` bind the reused templates and emitted bytes.
## Final documentation update (parent only)
`finalize_docs.py` now produces scratch proposals for current-status, playtest-build, root README and the new candidate README. The guide explicitly retains its transfer-fixes block as historical. Its three live-document baselines are byte-exact; any concurrent change refuses application and requires an explicit reviewed rebase. The candidate README must still match the assembly placeholder.
After package verification and independent preservation review, supply that review's exact approved hash:
```
python3 /tmp/erri-package-prep-2121/finalize_docs.py --verified --review /ABS/INDEPENDENT-REVIEW.json --review-sha256 APPROVED_SHA256
```
Review `proposed-docs/` and `docs-proposal.json`, then append `--apply` only for the root's approved final write. The script derives all counts from reports and independently checks frozen source, full registered suite, archived normal source/console, candidate source/runtime/ZIP and packed identities before writing. The normal run is described as reused on identical source, not newly executed. Native survivor reporting/retasking and human/MP/FPS limitations remain explicit; strict package/startup failures remain retained. No source-only mode or old guide replacement logic is carried forward. Independent review owns original/prior-package/index preservation; the helper writes only its four listed document destinations.
