# Inventory and BMP checks prepared; complete regression suite restored
All **309 registered regression programs pass** on the exact unchanged inputs in `suite-inputs.json` (246.23 seconds). This includes the previously blocked packaging tests and the production inventory callback regression. The source-bundle preview passes. It does not compile or qualify engine behavior.
## Inventory callback check
A new explicit `--project core --smoke inventory-hitzone --rounds 1 --timeout 240` Workbench selector prepares one bounded cycle through the ordinary inventory and character-inspection menu. It pins the original conscious participant, mode and menu; waits for seven genuine native injury containers; emits one real blood-invoker notification with one argument; and requires each original native updater to receive it exactly once with explicit true. It then closes only its own menu, requires genuine detach cleanup, emits the notification again and checks that the retained old handlers receive no late update. Blood health must stay unchanged. The inner deadline is 30 seconds and never extends; native close refusal stays a failure even after one bounded cleanup attempt.
The focused actual-method harness passes and a missing-late-update-check mutation fails at runtime. UI, invoker and engine boundaries are doubled there. The installed SDK confirms the native menu signatures. This source preparation is not native compilation, rendered UI, natural injury, treatment, ordinary input or multiplayer proof. The production callback adapter from the preceding checkpoint is unchanged.
## BMP diagnostic refinement
The previous [failed native check](../native-2026-10-03-bmp-ui-callback/report.json) identified the exact empty armament's slot mismatch. The existing opt-in diagnostic now records missing item/null parent/different parent, structural slot identities and zero-muzzle rejection separately, once per reason. It preserves ordinary sampler behavior, custody/completeness rules, counts and caps. Ordinary and Workbench focused checks pass; the old source fails the newly required diagnostic assertion. Independent review binds exact hashes.
Read-only installed-resource review confirms the exact WCS empty armament declares a disabled inventory-item component and no muzzle. This supports a possible distinction between structural weapon mounting and inventory custody; it does not establish the live binding. No production exception has been added. Observe the prepared check before deciding whether a narrowly constrained zero-muzzle structural exclusion is justified.
## Native deferral and temporary storage
A read-only host preflight found an existing game, so no native process was started. The new checks still require native compilation and execution once the host is idle, serialized in the existing hidden and muted private environment. Inventory first, then the existing `--project chat --smoke mounted-ammo --mounted-bmp --rounds 1 --timeout 420` diagnostic. Do not change completeness or substitute another vehicle to obtain a pass.
The prior shared `/tmp` quota failure was resolved sufficiently for the complete suite by relocating only this task's inactive frozen-source duplicate to disk. All 1031 files were verified before and after copying; the original path remains linked to the identical files. `scratch-relocation.json` records every retained hash. Other tasks' files and all historical evidence were preserved. No production safety check was relaxed to accommodate a different temporary path.
Original 533 reference files, staged work, five sealed development candidates and the installed successor runtime are unchanged. This checkpoint adds no installed/package update, manual escape, native BMP radio proof, twelve-player multiplayer, physical support reliability, FPS or clean-release qualification.
